Every child deserves an education for life long success, yet 98 million children in Sub-Sahara Africa are still out of school- their futures remain uncertain, and the cycle of poverty continues. Without urgent action, the situation will likely get worse. But it doesn’t have to be this way, it’s a problem we can solve if we work together. There are lots of great ways to help us end the education crisis. What matters most is that we choose to do something. Take action today, and save lives.

Quality education is more than a basic human right. It is the key to breaking the cycle of poverty and uplifting entire families, giving way to safe and prosperous economies. Yet access to quality education is still out of reach for over 98 million children across sub-Saharan Africa.

Slum2School is a volunteer-driven development organization transforming  the society by empowering underserved children in slums ad remote communities with quality education, entrepreneurial skills, and psychosocial support to enable them to realize their full potential and become social reformers.

Slum2School is focused around advocacy, community interventions, policy formulation, and youth engagement. As a volunteer-driven organization, we work with thousands of volunteers across slums, hard to reach villages and underserved communities where we engage the community to find the best sustainable solution to provide education for children and young people. We build new learning centers, collaborate with community schools to improve education quality and work in partnership with the government to improve the public schools if they exist in these communities.
